The Unsupported Mark - Drawing with Holography
Friday, 16 March 2018 20:33 Published in Group ExhibitionsCurated by Andrew Pepper the Unsupported Mark attempts to explore how artists have examined and exploited the luminous, unsupported, mark, both physically and conceptually. It draws work from the extensive Jonathan Ross Holography Collection, which has been acquiring a breadth of approaches to the medium from artists for 40 years.
Twenty artists have been selected with work ranging form 1979 to the present.
The exhibiton also includes a new work by Pepper (below), produced at The Light Foundry, Santa Fe, New Mexico in association with Artist August Muth.

Mid Winter - Love Light includes 'Line Addition', one of Andrew Pepper's early works with drawing and holography made in association with Light Fantastic Gallery, London, in the 1980's.
Works were selected from the Ross collection and represent an international range of artists working with holography.
